David Marshall
David has been in the industry for over 14 years and has been a virtualization industry expert for the past 7 years. He is currently employed by InovaWave, Inc., the leading provider of virtualization performance and increased density software, as the Director of Business Development and Product Marketing. Prior to joining InovaWave, David was a senior architect at Surgient, Inc., and a deployment manager at ProTier where he was responsible for creating and implementing a number of complex solutions for a number of Fortune 1000 clients. Before joining ProTier, he enjoyed a very successful 7-year career working in and managing a number of departments within BankOne. He has also authored numerous articles for a number of well known technical magazines. And he also founded the virtualization news site, vmblog.com, authors the InfoWorld Virtualization Report, and can be heard twice a week on InfoWorld�s Virtualization Report Podcasts. In addition to his writing, he has also appeared on a number of conference panels that were focused on the subject of virtualization. David graduated with a bachelor�s degree in Finance and with an Information Technology Certification from the University of New Orleans. He also holds a number of industry certifications from Microsoft, CompTIA and others.
